Mae Jones

My name is Mae Jones, and I am a passionate hair artist of five years. I came to Denver to pursue my dreams of becoming a Hair Artist eight years ago. I graduated from Red Rocks Community College and Warren Tech with an Associates of Applied Science in Cosmetology Degree.

I take pride in knowing how to work with all different hair types, I am Deva Cut certified, and know how to work with curly and wavy textured hair. I work on both men and women, as well as children.

I quickly fell in love working with fantasy colors and color corrections. Whether it’s mermaid hair or unicorn hair, I take pride in giving my clients their dream look while keeping the integrity of the hair.

For me to do that successfully, I continuously attend color classes to keep my knowledge on coloring up to date.

I like to get very creative with my hair art and thanks to the encouragement of my clients, I’ve been working on fantasy and glamour photo shoots with some local photographers. I am also a part of RAW: Natural Born Artists. Thanks to RAW, I was invited to be one of the hairstylists for New York Fashion Week. I am now getting ready to be a part of Denver Fashion Week’s beauty team! I love being behind the scenes!

In my spare time, I enjoy dancing with a contemporary jazz company, going to brunch and hiking adventures with my supportive husband, and spending time with my adorable fur babies.
